I am new to vector works and am trying to build a wall I can create the wall but am finding it impossible to create a wall height!!!!!!

Could anyone help me please

Many of the Wall Styles that ship with Vectorworks are intended to be "bound" on the top and bottom to either a Layer or a Story.

 

Select the wall and in the Object Info Palette (OIP), change the Bot Bound to be Layer Height and the Top Bound to be Layer Wall Height. This will change the existing wall only. If you don't want to have to do this for every wall, you will need to either create your own Wall Style or edit the existing Wall Styles to use the Layer and Layer Wall Height bounds. 

 

At least until you get to the point of setting up multiple Layers and Stories and can use the existing Wall Styles.
