Christiaan
I have a project with a stairwell which is glazed with a curtain wall to its external wall. I've done this simply by using a plugin window symbol on each floor drawn from floor to floor (3 metres). There are two problems with this approach. One is, on my model, I end up with a tiny slither of horizontal wall between each window head and sill. The other is I end up with a double thickness head/sill where each window meets. If I simply increase the height of each window by the thickness of the head/sill this exacerbates the first problem making the bit of horizontal wall showing bigger. Is there a better way to approach this? I'd prefer to keep using a window for each floor/layer if I can. I could live with the double thickness head/sill if I could get rid of the slither of wall between each window. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Why not just create 2 new complementary window symbols then ungroup & edit them ... lower without head & mullion and the upper without sill & mullion. Quote Link to comment
