Uli
Hi, I am using vectorworks 10.5 and want to draw a grid with 20 rows but only one column. Up to know I was only able to draw a grid with 20 line but I get always 2 columns. 1. grid ractangle 2. properties 3. Width of grid f.e. 50 4. Height of grid f.e. 175 5. x Spacing 50 6. y Spacing 8,8 I can set x Spacing to any number I always get two columns. Can anybody tell me how I can get a grid with only one column. Thanks for any advice Regards Uli Quote Link to comment
islandmon
ULI one column = no column. It appears that you require vert. bounding lines on each side of rows of Lines 50 long spaced at y=175. 1) make a Line x=50 2)dup array 50@y=175 3)make Line y=8925 4)dup array 1@y=50 Quote Link to comment
jan15
Or you could Ungroup the Grid object and then delete the vertical line down the middle, and then Group it again. If selecting all the grid lines again would be difficult, Group the Grid object first, EditGroup (by double-clicking on it), Ungroup the Grid object, delete the center line, and ExitGroup. It does seem odd that the Grid tool doesn't allow a single column, though I guess that a single column of horizontal lines isn't technically a "grid". Quote Link to comment
