Bruce Kieffer 142 Posted December 30, 2019 How do the classes Sills and NonPlot work? I placed a test window and those classes don't seem to do anything. I turned the window sill on, yet turning the class on and off has no effect. Quote Share this post Link to post
Markvl 187 Posted January 2, 2020 I think those classes are assigned for 2D elements. Quote Share this post Link to post
Bruce Kieffer 142 Posted January 2, 2020 I see that now, but this is not consistent with how classes work in VW. Quote Share this post Link to post
Wes Gardner 309 Posted January 2, 2020 @Bruce Kieffer, some of this stuff is legacy stuff and really needs to be sorted...it's just something we all have to live with. The NonPlot class really isn't a non-plot class in the sense that AutoCAD's NonPlot does not plot. Ours is just a named class...if you don't want it to plot, you have to turn it off like any other class. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Wes Gardner 309 Posted January 3, 2020 @Bruce Kieffer here are a couple of short reads that explain the sills class in both doors and windows. Door Explorer.docx Window Explorer.docx 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Wes Gardner 309 Posted January 3, 2020 @Bruce Kieffer Oops forgot to include a file...here's a window with, I believe, all the classes that you can get to (there are some hidden bits) broken out. It uses the "old skool" method of tagging...now days I'd use the Data Tag tool Wes Window Explorer v2020.vwx Quote Share this post Link to post
Bruce Kieffer 142 Posted January 3, 2020 That helps. Now I see how to turn off the 3D jam, which I want to do. Quote Share this post Link to post
