PJ
F1 Help menu for VW 11.5 doesn't work with Safari on Mac. Anyone have the solution beside using a different browser? Quote Link to comment
Kevin
Not sure what F1 Help is. But if you go to the Menu Bar>Help, while in Vectorworks, you should be just fine. Quote Link to comment
PJ
Vectorworks Help use web browser as an interface, and it is not compatible with Safari (I use Safari as a default web browser). I use I Explorer to open Help, and it is fine. I don't know if VW or Apple is supposed to solve this problem. I hope this info. will help. Thank You Quote Link to comment
islandmon
The NEW & Improved Help is both excellent & impressive with Safari. Kudos to the team Effort @ NNA. Quote Link to comment
Kevin
I agree with EJ. Help is excellent. PJ may need to reinstall software if he is indeed unable to use help with Safari. Just as others have stated, help works fine for me with Safari. I am on 10.3.8. Quote Link to comment

PJ
We use Safari 1.3 OS X 10.3.9 in the office and we all have the same problem. Quote Link to comment
Chris Fleming
In order for it to come up with the F1 key on a mac, you have to use fn+F1. You can also go to the help pulldown menu in VW, it comes up in Safari with no problems. There is a bit of a delay for java, but it comes up in a couple of seconds with no problems at all. I'm also using Safari 1.3 OS X 10.3.9 VW 11.5.0 [ 05-16-2005, 12:34 PM: Message edited by: Chris Fleming ] Quote Link to comment
JGoss
I also am able to use VW 11.5 Help in Safari 1.3. Next time you try wait a little bit - sometimes it takes ~30 sec for the Java to load and VW Help files to display. Because the help file uses Java, make sure you are running the current version. (Software Update should take care of that) One other thing to try is to go the VW Help folder (Applications/Vectorworks 11.5/VWHelp) and make sure the webpages located there opened into Safari, instead of IE.
