Then I added a site modifier pad and fence, and upon modifying the Model everything ground to a halt. After a looong time watching the Spinning Beach Ball of Death I got the Miscellaneous Error (20,2) message. Huh? N. Quote Link to comment

Try setting your "2D conversion resolution" to "low", regenerate the site modifier, and then redo your site model. Quote Link to comment
