Roman Posted April 2, 2005 Author Share Posted April 2, 2005 I had a file open and I renamed it via Finder on OS 10.3.8. Vectorworks 10.5 didn't like that and now my file is empty. 2 hours lost. I've done this in Photoshop and Illustrator, and those programs have no problem with it. Can this be fixed? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz Posted April 2, 2005 Share Posted April 2, 2005 Roman - I have inadvertantly done that but I haven't lost any drawing contents. Are you sure you haven't accidentally overwritten the file with a new empty one? Check the size of the file - is it more than 48K? If so try opening a new drawing and try workgroup referencing in the file you are having problems with. This may recover the contents if there are any. PS - VW 11 will write to a backup file so perhaps you should consider upgrading. Quote Link to comment
