DonnaS
I need to know if I buy Landmark; (previously I've only used Designer, which has it all) if I can still draw buildings with door and window symbols. As a sole practitioner I still need to layout existing structures with sight lines, pathways, etc. Quote Link to comment
ericjhberg
@DonnaS Yes it does, though it is a somewhat limited suite. That said, I only own landmark and was able to design a complete (albeit basic detailed concept) structure with it. The walls, windows, doors, and the roof tool all work in Landmark. I just hope it stays that way. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted February 15, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 15, 2019 As well as the Slab tool... Quote Link to comment
RussU
A very distant memory tells me that there used to be a symbol library called "Architectural objects Sampler" and there were basic windows and doors as PIOs. This was when I was on fundamentals, many many years ago, so I don't know if they still exist in other versions, but they were handy for getting simple architectural objets in a hurry Quote Link to comment

But yes, there are libraries of stuff. You do get much of the architectural stuff in Landmark now. 1 Quote Link to comment
