Travis Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 I've finally taken the time to create customized classes for our frequently-used PIOs (windows, doors, stairs, railing, etc.) and made the changes via the VectorScript Plug-in Editor. Now, how do I transfer these "updated" PIOs to the rest of the office? Where are they stored? I'm guessing it's not as simple as copying the Workspace to the other workstations. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Assuming your on a mac - Option drag the 'customised' plug-ins into a holding folder (this makes a copy of them with the same name and leaves the original in place) - Transfer this folder to each of the other machines - Open the VW Plug-ins folder on that machine - Put the 'customised' plug-ins into the VW plug-ins folder and say yes to overwriting. - Restart VectorWorks (it would probably be best to not have it runnig when you do the plug-in replacement) THe Windows procedure would be similar - all you are doing is replacing the plug-in with a newer version which you have customised.
