VW2019 Symbol components won't cpoy paste to each other

Hi all,

 

Now that I upgraded to 2019 I cannot copy/paste from 2D symbol component to 3D edit space. Is it just me or is this new "feature"? If I copy 2D and go to 3D edit mode and paste, the pasted polygons are pasted to 2D side doubling the polygons there. I use paste in place.

 

In case anyone's wondering why the hell this Finn is trying to do that let me answer. For positioning. In earlier versions I always adjusted the positions of 2D and 3D to match. Now I don't know how should I do it.
