Not getting smart points at all

Hi,
I am learning basics for 2D lightplots creating folowing YT video guide VW 2016 from GSG here: https://youtu.be/wT1gLCHuLvM

I set VW + document + smart cursors settings according the guide, but smart points do not appears under cursor at all like in the video.

My settings are in the screenshot attached: Design layers – Show/Snap others, Snap palette – snap to distance and Smart points enabled.

I did  my best to find in help, but...unsuccessfully.

 

Could someone help?

Have you tapped the Y key, by mistake? It is the hot key for hiding or showing screen hints

Now THERE's a hot key I think disposable.
