jezscott
If you have multiple viewports, what is the fastest way of updating the same class/layer visibilities for all of them? ...either just viewports within one file or even across multiple files. eg. I'm using one floorplans file, which references into individual print files (with a titleblock symbol, viewport and sheet layer for each page size). regards, Jez Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
as far as i can see, you have to highlight one at a time and change the layers/classes individually through the object info palette. another way if you knew how many you needed to make is to creat one, and than copy and paste that one for all, then go in and change the layers for each. perhaps multiple viewport editting could be a wish list item... jezscott
yeah, maybe something like the eyedropper tool could be extended to transfer all sorts of properties, in a similar way to archicad. I beleive the vectorworks "architect" at least has better facilities to manage classes between files. I need to check it out. Quote Link to comment
