Fix Camera Behaviour When Attached to Viewports

Kevin McAllister

Question

Please fix camera behaviour when attached to sheet layer viewports. My specific issue is that the camera has a residual connection to the design layer it was created on. Sheet layer viewports are designed for flexibility of what they look at and this camera behaviour interferes with that. The camera should always look at the current layers the viewport looks at and nothing else. I often duplicate sheet layer viewports because of the face pace of my workflow, resetting the layer(s) they look at. Its frustrating to go in to edit a camera and not have it looking at the layer(s) the viewport is looking at.

I wish that the camera was available as part of the drop down menu that defined the sheet layers orientation.  So you could release or keep the camera's specific viewpoint as you would change from Front to Top.  This would only change the viewpoint and not anything regarding classes or layers.
