Pamela
I have found the VW11 custom dash styles, but is there any way to create line types (or a plug in with lines defined) that have more definition, such as fence lines with 'x's' or utility lines? say a solid line that has a 'w' imbedded indicating a water line. I could produce custom line types in acad and they are exptremely helpful in depicting utilities and other specialty items. I would love to have a pallette of line types beyond the series of dashed lines I have created. Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
There is a Schematic Pipe PIO at VS Example page. It is the 2D Path Object, second from the bottom. HTH, Raymond Quote Link to comment
Petri
Pamela, Check http://www.vectordepot.com/PlugIns1.shtml and also the marketplace of the site for useful add-ons. I think the one that might help you is called Broken Line; I've been thinking of publishing my 'Marker Poly' which does pretty much the same, but with polygons. Stay tuned to VectorDepot - the premium 'shame list' of NNA's shortcomings... Quote Link to comment
Grant M
The Australia & NZ version of Vectorworks Architect 11 has this tool. Its called Custom Dashed Line Tool and allows you to put a crossed line or text in the gaps. I haven't installed it yet but expect that it does what you want. Try OzCad to see if they make it available in other parts of the world http://www.ozcad.com.au/ Quote Link to comment
