Why doesn't web export work on this file?

Hi everyone.

 

I've got a basic file, attached, and when I go to a 3d view, set to OpenGL, and then Perspective (not ortho) and export to webview, and click the preview button, I get a completely empty scene in the browser... panned around the full 360° and there's nothing there!

What am I doing wrong?

All the layers in this file are set to invisible, you are only seeing the geometry because it resides on the currently active layer. The Web View export's settings for "All Visible Objects" or "All Visible Objects on Active Layer" require that the layer itself be set to visible in order to export.

Ahh... Ok... so even though I've got a layer which I'm working on ticked, the export module looks at the "ticks in the box"....

Nah that's actually a little misleading, I'm going to suggest they make the Active layer always read as visible for WebView export, since generally with that export mode you want to get exactly what you currently see on screen.
