drmdzh
A student of mine built a 3D model but once she added a few lighting instruments, the model disappeared - in any render setting, in any view. We deleted the lights, which seemed to cause the problems. You can see the model when zooming in or out, but it immediately disappears when not zooming. Is this a corrupt file, or is something else going on? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
This is something that started with SP2 for me too from time to time. With SP1 it was a also problem of not showing geometry updates after editing, when in Best Performance OpenGL Mode. This was fixed with SP2. Edited December 7, 2016 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted December 7, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 7, 2016 There we many issues prior to SP2 with this, many were resolved but some still remain and others are hardware specific. @drmdzhif you could reply back with the following I can take a closer look: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/627/DirectX+Diagnostics+and+System+Profiler Quote Link to comment

There were Problems with disappearing geometry (in Extrude edit mode and such) at SP0. But maybe not with SP1 in between (?) Nevertheless disappearing geometry happens quite seldom for me in SP2. Not in your personal case perhaps, but I speak regarding the cumulative info within all the reports from all users that contact us through many channels. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Yes, I meant my assumption (started with SP2) was not correct. Just forgot there were already problems without SPs. I don't remember exactly but I thought I had no more problems with SP1. Just remember that I had one with SP2. No proof that these may appeared by SP2 though. Quote Link to comment
