Phil hunt Posted September 28, 2016 Author Share Posted September 28, 2016 converted the symbol to a group.....ungrouped....then converted to another renamed symbol and all's fine strange i did save this to version 16 and the same thing happened so i think it's something i did not version 17 but i can't think what i have done wrong!!!!!! Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted September 28, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 28, 2016 Hi Phil, If the problem happens again, check to see if the symbol is 2D, 3D, or 2D/3D (hybrid). When you select the symbol in the document, the type of symbol will be displayed at the top of the Obj Info palette. If it is a hybrid symbol, you will not see anything in the 3D component when in Top Plan view. It sounds like something unnoticeable became part of the 2D component of the symbol. It could be something in a class that has been turned off. Quote Link to comment
