Texture Disappears Depending on Viewing Angle

No but try eye dropping one viewport to the black one to see if it fixes it. Then change the view angle again.

You may have a class turned on in the viewport that has the lights on. This can cause the 3D to go black.

Thanks Alan, had a look but not light sources.

I had a quick look and all 4 viewports have the class attribute for walls set to black. For what ever reason in two of the viewports the texture overrides the fill. Have done a class override for all 4 VPs and made that class white fill and now seems to work.
