nic
I have VW 10 on a PC. The convert copy to lines command is a bit erratic - works when it feels like it, it seems, when 'conditions' are exactly the same. Why is this, is this a bug? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Bryan_dup1
I use the feature alot, what is it doing when it doesn't work for you? Quote Link to comment
Fred Perkins
You have it working on a Mac? With our files there are almost always lines missing somewhere. And to make it more interesting, the missing lines change. Nemetschek knows about this problem but they said it way only on Macs. We have to go back to 9.5 if we want to convert to line or cut a 3D section. Quote Link to comment
Adam E
We have two Mac G4's running VWorks 10 and both of us have this same exact problem. It is totally erratic and there is no explanation for why there are frequently items that do not get rendered. We keep copies of 9.5 on both Macs for this reason. It is pretty annoying doing a convert to lines that takes several minutes only to find that something is missing. Quote Link to comment

(It seems to have been caused by a bug in the compiler we're using on the Macs, which is what made it such a challenge to track down.) Unfortunately, we can't blame all our bugs on the compiler...
