Patrick Winkler
Hello, I wanted to create an video of a skyline with the camerapath tool. The Camera is placed in an angle of 90° to the Camerapath. The camera should keep this angle along the path but when the film is started it focuses on the start point. Follow object is disabled. Is there a option to change that behaviour? Edited May 11, 2016 by Patrick Winkler Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Patrick, Hi, you need to select the animation renderworks OIP and select an AW Camera Path. Draw a camera path, name it. Then select AW Camera and select the line and click away in the direction you want to look and a dialogue will come up can tick Follow Named Object and put in you path name. Then go Model / Animation Works and you get see attached then click ok and you will see the camera follow the path. HTH Edited May 12, 2016 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
Patrick Winkler
Hi Alan, thanks for the help. The problem is not to get the camera moving on the camerapath but to set it's angle static. Imagine your driving parallel to a skyline and looking in a 90° angle out of the window. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, When you open the animation OIP it shows the camera, you need to pick the path. see attached pic. Setting then angle of the camera will focus on your direction, HTH Edited May 12, 2016 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
