johncruet
The glass in the simple window isn't transparent as it cuts the wall. this was not a problem in Version 8.5. What did I do wrong? Quote Link to comment
Guest
The panes on doors and windows are set by class styles as of Vw 9. When you select a window or door iwth a pane in it, there is a setting in the OIP at the bottom called Class Settings. In here is a Glazing setting. There is a drop down box next to Glazing with 3 settings. Selecting one of these other than None will create the associated class. Then you will need to go to the Classes dialog box and select the Style-Glazing-# class and assign an attribute to it. By default, the setting is set to Solid White. To make it transparent, you can change the solid white to a none fill, or you can apply a glass texture. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
what I do is turn off the "style" classes while im model view. that way any glazed opening in windows or doors appear as voids.... Quote Link to comment
