Markvl
I'm a newbie to Vectorworks and I'm use to Autocad, Revit, and Softplan. There is a lot to Vectorworks that I really like and there are some things I don't like. What I find a little frustrating is finding 3d content. Vectorworks seems very slim in this department despite its usage worldwide. Does anyone here have some direction on 3d content; simple things like tubs, toilets, vehicles, furniture. Anything would be great whether it's free or I have to pay. Thanks, 1 Quote Link to comment
Patrick Fritsch
Many extra libraries with Service Select subscription like those you mention. Also try Sketch up imports or http://www.modlar.com http://www.nationalbimlibrary.com http://www.vectordepot.com Quote Link to comment

Thanks, Just to be sure, did you also install the additional content? http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/1170/Vectorworks+2014+Content+Library+Installation Without this, the pickings are very slim indeed as it only includes a few 3D library objects by default. EvanB2088
Thank for the links. Recently bought vectorworks 2021 and it's really good. But it seems that my old laptop wan't ready for that. Is HP OMEN (found it here) good for vectorworks? Thanks Edited January 12, 2021 by EvanB2088 mistake Quote Link to comment
