Kalen Sowul
Is the handrail tool not part of Vectorworks Spotlight? If not (that's disappointing) how do you all create handrails when modeling your catwalk areas of your theatre spaces? Is duplicate array the best way to achieve this? Quote Link to comment
Josh Schulman
I would make a circle (the railing) and then make a path object to do the top of the railing. Duplicate the path object first so there are two of them sitting one top of each other. Grab one path object and your railing circle then Extrude Along Path. For the uprights, make one and then Duplicate Along Path. You can tell VW how far apart to put the uprights. Then I would Add Solids the whole thing together once you know it is all good. That part saves on file size. Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
If there is a lot of repetition i suggest you make one section as a symbol and duplicate/array etc that, if you need to tweak the look only need to do it once..... Quote Link to comment
