Edit Roof Object cutout

We need to be able to edit and/or remove cutouts from Roof Objects!

You can Clip / Clip Surface from a Roof

You can also Add Surface to a Roof Face, or double click and edit the generating Polygon.

But I agree - we should be able to Add Surface to a Roof also.

I just want to be able to edit the shape after the fact......just like you can in Slabs and Roof Faces.

If it turns out not to be broken but instead intended to work that way, I will submit it as a request.

To remove these clipped pieces of geometry, select the roof object, then use Modify > Edit Group

This will take you into an editing mode that will show you the original roof in addition to all clipped geometry taken from it. From this editing mode, you can alter or remove previous clips.

While this is useful, it is VERY hidden and isn't available in the contextual (right-click) menu for a roof either. I don't think a user would be able to discover this without being told except by random chance.

Submitting request for Add Surface to be usable on Roof objects now, in addition to making the editing mode for previous adds/clips more easily discover-able.
