Bruce Kieffer
Upgrading the processor on a new 15" Retina MacBook Pro from 2.7GHz to 2.8GHz costs $250. Both are i7 chips. That seems like of $ a lot for a little increase. Can this upgrade do much to improve Vectorworks's performance? Quote Link to comment
bc
My guess is that you wouldn't notice. But faster IS faster even if it is just a 4% increase. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 10, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 10, 2013 Unless you perform long Renderworks renders regularly, for more than an hour or two per day, you likely would not notice a difference between the two as far as Vectorworks is concerned.
