Autosave Changes

I've been using VW 8 hours a day for the past month. One thing is for sure... it crashes a lot (I wish it didn't). I would like to have the option to both autosave the original file in place and save multiple copies to a backup folder. Unfortunately I need to recover from crashes more often than I need to Revert to Saved.

you can already auto-save multiple backup files

VW>Preferences>Autoave

Additionally you can use TimeMachine to get you back to an earlier saved version of the file.

True, and I do both, but I want to be able to check both the Overwrite original file and Autosave a backup copy to buttons...

aha got it.

I make frequent use of cmd S throughout the workday - when I know the drawing is at a stable point, when I've been working for a while and before I ask VW to perform some arduous operation that gives me the 'feeling' that a crash or hang may be imminent. I liken it to a sixth sense but if I paid more attention I'd probably be able to articulate & repeat & bug-submit the problems. But who has time for all that?
