DuncanG
Hi. I am producing a drawing in 2D including plans and elevations. I have produced a stair design, using the stair tool, and positioned it on plan. I now would like to replicate that stair on the elevation. Is there a way I can duplicate the stair, on my design layer, but show it in elevation format? Similarly, is there a way of showing a 3D symbol in plan and then in elevation on the same design layer? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
You cannot have two different views on one design layer (with some complex exceptions), but you can duplicate the Stair, put it into a side view, then Convert to Group. This will give you a 2d stair profile. It will not update so if you make changes you will need to redo it... Quote Link to comment
