John A
In my camera shot, the view beyond the limit of my project (the street and buildings across the street) renders as the color of the sky. Is there a way to mask that surface, make it black or some neutral color? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted April 11, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 11, 2013 Hi John, Do you mean that you want to get rid of the sky background altogether? If so: If you're on a design layer, go to the "Set Renderworks Background" in the "view" menu and choose "None" or some other desired background. If you're rendering a Sheet Layer Viewport, then select the viewport and choose the desired Render Background via the Obj Info palette. If this is not what you're looking for, can you clarify or post an example? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted April 11, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 11, 2013 John, I think I now know what you're talking about. This is the background color that shows in uncropped perspective mode even while in wireframe mode? If so, the colors can be changed through the "Interactive Appearance Settings" in the Vectorworks Preferences dialog. You can get to these settings via the "Interactive" tab of the Vectorworks Preferences. There you will find an "Interactive Appearance Settings" button. HTH, Matt Quote Link to comment
