J. Wallace Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 I have used the climber or vine plant symbols to cover or grow on structures before (fence, pergola, etc). I have a large retaining wall (20') which I will be planting vines at the top to drape over...Not sure how I can illustrate this in a 3d or model view? Quote Link to comment
ray isaacs Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 j., i saw a video of a guy making an image prop of a vine to be placed on a trellis. he mapped the image as a texture onto a slightly curved plane. this allowed the vine to be viewed at different angles without looking flat, plus because of the transparency, the vine had the apperance of depth. i have not tried this myself, but i hope to in a current project doing something similar to what you are describing. maybe it will do what you want? ray Quote Link to comment
