J. Wallace
I'm having a challenge with a texture bed that I'm applying to a series of pads which represent a pathway. The texture bed appears on the surface,(highlighted) of the pads, but the asphalt rendering is up in the air (see attached). I have tried sending this to surface but it pulls everything up in the air. Any help is much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Did you Update the Site Model? Maybe accidentally typed in an number other than zero in the Elevation or Z fields? Quote Link to comment
J. Wallace
Hi Peter Yes I Updated site model, and yes no elevations indicated. I think this may be a bug. If I send to surface my model texture becomes very distorted over the whole model surface. I am going to start from scratch. I'll let you know what happens. Quote Link to comment
J. Wallace
So this is weird.... I thought that the texture bed may be causing some issues. I removed it and edited (enlarged) a similar texture bed that was beside the original. See attached, if I don't texture the pathway the site model looks good. Once I texture it I get distortion???? I hope this in not a video card issue.... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
JW, I actually saw this (or something really similar) where more than one texture bed seemed to cause odd problems, like hole in the site model. But I could not duplicate it in any other files so I did not yet file a bug. I will keep a close eye out! Quote Link to comment
J. Wallace
Started over yet again.... got it to work... Thanks Peter... The same thing happened to me early on in this project. Fixed itself with no explanation. It was close to printing and created a bit of tension. Quote Link to comment
