Referencing options

Thank you for answer.

This is what we usually do. I was looking to know if is possible when you reference a drawing to exclude that this file brings with him also the other reference it has inside.

I mean if I reference my drawing A to a file B that has inside a reference to a file C. Is it possible to bring in the file A just the B without the information of the file C. Maybe it could help to have file smaller?

Each Design Layer reference will be on a unique Design Layer and you can choose which source Design Layers are visible. So if you don't want file C's referenced Design Layers then don't have its 'Design Layer' in file B visible. Note though that this will also exclude any information added on that Design Layer in File B.

So the only way to exclude it is by turning of the layer as I thought. Thanks.

Do you know why while I'm in the drawing A and the layer of the reference B is on and also the layer of the reference C that it has inside is on sometimes I'm not able to see C?
