Length of Extruded objects

I have used extruded circles to represent a series of pipe runs as the pipe PIO makes for too long a render. I can build a spread sheet that calculates the VOLUME but not the LENGTH of each set of "pipes". Any thoughts?

In the past I've used a simple formula that divides the volume by the area of the profile to get the length of an extrude.

Yeah Thanks, that's what I've done, but it means I need a formula for each pipe size.

If you're using Extrude Along Path to create your "pipes", why not just create a Column in your Worksheet for length and use the formula =Length to return the length of each Extrude?

I think the issue is that when getting the lengths of different diameter pipes or different lumber or steel stock you need to do nested if/then calls or other tricks to get that length column to work.

It would be cool if there was a =EAPPathLength or =EAPProfileArea call.

It would also be nice if a PIPE PIO was not two to five times the size of an extruded circle. I find the plumbing BIM very slow, & getting acceptably small 3D plumbing fittings almost impossible.
