NicoH
Hi, a friendof mine is willing to send me his Vectorworks but I want to make sure it will work on my computer. It is a 2012 Landmark w/renderworks edition (serial starting with "E") that has been used in his computer only. I read a couple of posts that refer to a license transfer through Nemetschek...how does it work? Something else: my friend is in USA and I am in Argentina (South America). Is this a problem for the transfer? Who should I contact to make sure it will work on my Mac? Regards, Nicolas. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted August 30, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 30, 2012 Nicolas, Contact your local Vectorworks distributor. http://www.vectorworks.net/international/index.php They will be able to provide you with support and determine if the license can be transferred to you. VincentCuclair
An easy way to transfer a license is to simply buy an upgrade.......if you upgrade your friends license (ie you buy and register the upgrade using his serial number) the license is automatically transferred to you. This works in Sweden but make sure you check with Nemetschek first that it works in your situation too! Edited August 31, 2012 by Vincent C Quote Link to comment
Kizza
You can get a licence transfer form from Nemetschek. Before you hand over your cash get the original owner to sign it. Edited August 31, 2012 by Kizza Quote Link to comment
