michaelk
Anyone know why these lines are appearing? They don't have vertices in the reshape tool. They disappear if the fill color is white or if the opacity is 100% Changing the pen to None doesn't make them go away - so they aren't sides of any polygon. Thanks mk Edited August 22, 2012 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Open GL rendering? These used to happen all the time with any surface with interior holes. Its been better in recently versions so perhaps this is a holdover bug of some sort. Kevin Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Nope. This is Top/Plan. mk Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Stranger still: Switch the polygon to layer plane and switch to a 3D view. The lines have moved! They are a little hard to see in this screen shot, but the lines are not in the red ovals. They still run straight north/south, even thought the view has changed. mk Edited August 22, 2012 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Interesting. I was easily able to duplicate your problem. You can't see the lines when the fill colour is white which is probably why I've never noticed them before. I suspect it has something to do with the internal rendering engine. If you export your shape as an EPS and open it in Illustrator you'll see the same divisions in a physical form. I know because I've had to clean these pieces up in the past. Dieter @ DWorks
This is because how VW draws these objects internally. It actually splits it up because a poly with a whole doesn't really exists. Quote Link to comment
