Anthony Reilly
In my drawing I have decided to change a 2" X 2" square tube to a 1" X 2" tube. My problem is that when I change the shape of the 3D object in the object info palllet it pulls away from the adjacent 2" X 2" vertical tubing and I want them to touch. I have tried changing working planes so this doesn't happen and have not been able to figure this out. Can someone point me to reading material(s) relating to this. I'm just trying to determine how to create an anchor point (for lack of the proper word) that the altered shape will stay at. Thank you, Quote Link to comment
bcd
I don't think it's a primitive cube. If you want to change it's delta-x or delta-y values you can group it and in top plan view choose to fix one of the 9 anchor points in the OIP. If you click to edit the extrude's profile you find the same anchor points Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Sometimes it is just plain easier to create a new object. You could do it in far less time than it took to write this post... Quote Link to comment
