SamIWas
I recently upgraded both my desktop and laptop to 2012, after using 2010 for several years. I couldn't find anything about this on the forum after a search. After the upgrade, random scripts seem to just simply not run. This is especially apparent in new scripts, which the majority of never run. Sometimes, I can create a new script, and copy and paste the test from a non-working script, and it runs fine. Other times, I can make a script with nothing more than a call to the message tool to have it display a message, and it doesn't work. Most of these scripts are vital in my production planning, and are what saves me tons of time doing things on an individual basis. Any ideas why this is happening? Vectorworks 2012 SP3 with Spotlight/Renderworks, running on Mac OSX 10.7.3. Thanks!! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted April 27, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 27, 2012 Sam, I haven't seen any problem working with document scripts. If you are dealing with plug-ins you have to restart Vectorworks to get it to recognize the new plug-in. Quote Link to comment
SamIWas
Very strange. The problem persists for me. Today, started a new command script, which was just a SelectObj(criteria). Won't run. I'm thinking of reinstalling...thinking something just went wrong. On an unrelated note, how on earth do you get this forum to send you an email when there is a reply to a topic in which you posted?
