michael john williams
I have just tried installing my vw on my laptop and it is asking for up to date dongle drivers. Where do I go? Quote Link to comment
michael john williams
I have now found the link from vw knowledgebase but I must I admit it is not very clear. I presum I just download the HASP but it is not clear which one. Also once I have downloaded does it commit the dongle to that driver? My plan is to have vw on both my xp pc and win 7 laptop, but is that possible? Quote Link to comment
IanH
I recall the dongle drivers being on the installation DVD in a seperate directory than the Vectorworks install. Possibly no need for any downloading as I think my hasp drivers were once updated on Microsoft update. No problem installing on PC and home or laptop if you have, as I suspect, an E series license. Im pretty sure that the dongle is locked to the certain digits from the Vectorworks serial number not the drivers so that it also works in second license scenario where more than one dongle may be in use. michael john williams
Ian, thanks for that - in the end it was as you say simply just doing a windows update! Quote Link to comment
