stevenaia
Can someone explain to me why there are duplicate wall styles, one says (no codes)? I'm trying to decide which would be better to keep and why. Thanks Steven Quote Link to comment
Clint Alderman
I've been wondering the same. Does anyone know? For example: Ext-2x4-Brick veneer (Walls~Slabs Style Imperial.vwx) Ext-2x4-Brick veneer (Walls~Slabs Style Imperial (no codes).vwx) It's like for most wall styles. I can't determine the differnece. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted January 17, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 17, 2011 The "no codes" files have simple component descriptions. The "codes" files have a MasterFormat product number prepended to the component description (otherwise the same). This can be useful if you want to quantify your walls at a component level and sort out into a worksheet by product code. Not everyone wants or needs this (nor does everyone find the MasterFormat coding system relevant) so we provide the uncoded form. Quote Link to comment
