VincentCuclair
Of course this happens when I have a deadline, please help, any suggestions much appreciated. Pic 1 shows a rendering of a RW camera view with strange things happening!? Pic 2 shows a rendering of the front view the way it should render! Both done within 30 secs of each other. I had no problems with this file last night, then I started up tonight and problems, WHAT IS THIS!!!!???? This happened with existing cameras but also with newly placed ones...... Final Quality Renderworks....... Edited August 26, 2010 by Vincent C Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
I want to say recursion levels are causing that. Which may mean you are hitting the edge of your memory. Did you add more trees or things? Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
No, I split the terrain into several bits.......if I'm already hitting memory problems with one church and one addition what will happen when I try modeling a 10 story apartment block........I'll try removing some trees......thanks for the input! VincentCuclair
No go...... I copied everything to a new file and problem solved??! It's this kind of unexplainable instability that really gets to me, time for a total rebuild, this was a fairly straight forward small size file!?? What happens when working with large projects.......very frustrating! Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
Just an update, the reason was a dwg I had import in the later stages, apparently this took up a lot of memory, there are always an absurd amount of symbols when importing dwgs, just a tip for everyone in the future, don't import dwgs in you active file instead create a new file import the dwg and then reference this into your active file. islandmon
To reiterate a long standing VW rule ... NEVER ... import DWG... into an Active File ! Quote Link to comment
