You're not using the story pole tool, though (I tried that, couldn't figure it out). So the ruler you are using is a symbol of your own creation, or did it come from somewhere? Quote Link to comment

The only problem is, it's being used only in 2D plan view, so there's no way to snap to that height in 3D view. That problem may go away in the new Vectorworks 2011, because it allows placing text and dimensions in 3D space. Quote Link to comment
