The Cantor Posted December 13, 2001 Share Posted December 13, 2001 How can I set prefs for the dimension tool prior to starting a drawing? I would like to set dimension prefs so they are part of my default document. I constantly am going back and setting things in the Object Info window after I generate the dimension lines. I've only been drawing in this thing since MC5. Just can't seem to figure it out or find it in the small print. There. I finally admitted it. CipesDesign Posted December 13, 2001 Share Posted December 13, 2001 Cantor, In the file menu there is an item called Document Preferences. In Doc.Prefs there a tab called DIMENSIONS. Click on it. You can use any of the preset standards that come with the program or you can modify or create your own. Whatever you set here will be your default. PLC Quote Link to comment
