preston bircher designs
I was Placing instruments on different pipes--and I decided to change two fixtures. The Label Legned was a disaster for some reason after I Modify>Replace Intrument. So I just deleted the Legend in the OIP Use Legend. No good. So I deleted the instruments all together. Now when I placed NEW instruments (and they are instruments in the OIP and the Lable Legend is now correct--however, the fixtures are transparent -- or the pipe is 'over' them in the 2D. I made sure that my Attributes were as per class style -- Solid White Fill and 0.05 black pen. Every Source-4 is transparent! Every Mover... all "new" insertions are transparent! What have done to make this happen? Quote Link to comment
SAR
You might want to check the symbol definition of that symbol instance through the edit symbol window and make sure that it has solid white fill in the parts of the symbol. Once you correct the symbol here the rest of the instruments on the plot based on that instance will be corrected. Steve Quote Link to comment
waszak-the-lamper21
Was it rendered? Try command-shift-f (I'm not sure what the PC equivalent is) Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted June 1, 2010 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 1, 2010 Preston, You need to check the symbol definition. All the symbols are drawn in the "None" calss by default and if you have the "None" class set to no fill the symbols probably have no fill. Quote Link to comment
preston bircher designs
Klinzey--thank you. It was the "NONE" class issue. Quote Link to comment
