domer1322
I've never tried to use texture beds before and I am following the manual carefully but I can't get them to render. The bed shows up as a white surface no matter what texture I assign to it in the OIP. Does this feature work in VW 2009 Designer series (with RW and Landmark) ? I tried making them by drawing a site modifier, and also by drawing a polygon and converting it, but the results are the same. I can't really figure out what "Elevation" in the OIP palate does, since the 'Z' value changes the elevation height. I also update the site model DTM .. but that doesn't help. Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Roger, In the OIP, you must enter the text of the Class that you want the Texture Bed to be assigned to. Then, set the desired Texture in the Class. The Texture Bed will then Texture, as long as all Attributes are set "By Class". Quote Link to comment
domer1322
thanks for the tip ... I tried it and it worked on the first try. May I suggest you find a way to put that information in the manual? .... it would have saved me a lot of time ..... Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
the height of the texture bed should be 0, unless you want it to float above the land... Quote Link to comment
