TimG
I there a way to get a value of a worksheet cell to show different units from the rest of the document? example: I want my drawing dimensions to be in feet and inches, however in my window schedule I want the frame sizes to be in just inches (to match window manf. catalog)... is there a way to do this??? any ideas appreciated. TimG
never mind, sorry for the post... but, i figured it out... format the cell to show value as a general number, put a trailer of " and for the value of the cell I multiply it by twelve like this... =(Window.OverallWidth)*12 however things will get messed up if I ever do change the units (which i probably won't)... does anyone know of another way to do this, or is this the best way to achieve this? Jim Smith
... We do something very similar, all of our drawings are all Metric however; some clients are geezers like me, & like to see square feet in area calculations. So our area Worksheets have two columns, Column A is Metric, Column B is equal to Column A, multiplied by a conversion factor of 10.76391. Quote Link to comment
