Bruce Kieffer
Please take a look at the attached PDF. Is there a way to change the image prop photo so it's opaque in front of the other hidden line rendered objects? This is a viewport with background rendering set to final quality RW, and foreground rendering set to hidden line. I see the same problem when I render the design layer hidden line. In that case the image prop is transparent. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Bruce Does it need to be an image prop? Since you don't need it to do image prop tricks, like face the camera, it would be easier to map a texture to a 3D poly. That should solve the opacity problem. hth michaelk Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Bruce Tried to add an example, but it timed out. Here's another try... Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Michael, I tired the texture on a 3D poly, and that was hard to get the image sized and placed right, and the image seemed to shift a bit when I made the viewport. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I found a simple work around. I added a 5x7 3D poly with a white fill one nudge behind the image prop. That solved the problem. But if there is another solution via a setting in the image prop or viewport, I'd be interested in hearing what that is. Quote Link to comment
