jeffroyer
One door in my project has been turned into a symbol. All the others remain as door objects. Once turned into a symbol it no longer appears in my schedule. It still has the "include on schedule" button turned on. I am considering dropping a duplicate in the file out of the print area (that remains a door - not a symbol) just to get it on the schedule although this is not an ideal situation. Pat Stanford
Edit the criteria for the schedule (click and hold on the row header and choose Edit Criteria from the popdown menu). Make sure In Symbol is checked under the criteria. Then it should look and find the door inside the symbol. Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
Thanks for the quick reply Pat. When I choose the row header, the "Edit Criteria" is grey. There is a checkmark next to "Spreadsheet". If I choose "Database" I go to a different dialogue box. What next Obe Wan? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It sounds like you have the wrong row. There should be a bunch of sub-rows (eg 4.1, 4.2, 4.27, etc.) above those there should be a Header Row with a plain number (in this example 4). If it goes form 3 to 4.1 then the Header Rows are hidden. Go to the little pull down triangle menu over the row headers and Select the line that says Row Headers. Now select the Header Row (ie 4) and try the Edit Criteria routine. Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
Thanks Pat. I now have a vague memory of learning about those hidden row headers some time ago. Thanks for the fix!! Jeff Quote Link to comment
