Associative Dimensioning

Recommended Posts

Hello -

Not sure how much of this is a new feature in 2010 - or whether I have just stumbled across it whilst searching for new features, but I like the associative dimensioning (also discovered dual dimensioning - like that too as I work in mm, but a lot of the stock stuff we use in events in in feet).

But I don't like how if you accidentaly move a dimension in a viewport annotation, that is dimensioning say a wall, the actual wall moves as well. I just moved the dim out of the way whilst I checked something and whoaa!!! :o:o

Surely a viewport annotation should be a safe place to work without messing with your drawing?
