vhector
When I import a dwg and the layers have the same name as the class of the vectorworks classes. The vectorworks gets the colors of the dwq file. Is it possible to keep the class colors of the vectorworks drawing, so that the layers of the dwg gets the colors from vectorworks. Pat Stanford
Always import a DWG into a blank file and then either copy/paste or reference the data into your main file. It will save you lots of problems in the long run. In addition to the changing class colors, dash styles are also often changed by importing DWGs. Quote Link to comment

monkey
you can add a prefix to the dwg classes (layers) when importing, this will stop the dwg from affecting your drawing colours Quote Link to comment
