Folders for Navigation Pallet

I would like to have the ability to nest sets of SHEET LAYERS and DESIGN LAYERS similarly to the way CLASSES are nested. This would make things much more simple. For example Structure or M&E or even 11x17 sets could all be in folders that make it less time consuming to find the proper Sheets.

Everything should be able to be organized into folders or a similar container without regard to what it is.

The user should be able to organize symbols, textures, hatches, wall styles, and whatever else in whatever way they wish.

Endless list of endless lists ... we need an expandable neural net structure at the core of everything. This idea that endless scrolling is satisfactory .. just sucks...

a majority of effort is expended on scanning lists ...

so what if they are in different categories ...

An oldie but still required. As a job progresses through various stages we save a copy (CD, SD, DD, Permit, Construction, CA). The CA set can have dozens of Sheets, having folders in the Navigation Pallet would be very helpful.

This is absolutely needed!

 

The problem is made worse by having design layers and sheet layers in the same dropdown.

 

We desperately need the same to happen for the "saved views" list - subfolders please. I find myself using saved views to get round the difficulty of having to scroll past endless sheet layers to access a design layer on that dropdown - but this means I have an increasingly large number of saved views and the same problem becomes an issue there!
