rouse73
I have been using an old version of vectorworks (11.5.1) for exhibition stand/feature design for the last 4 years. We are now upgrading and my question is which is more suitable for the exhibition industry, Spotlight or Architect? I am currently trying a demo version of both but have little time to properly try out everything... Many Thanks Quote Link to comment
michaelk
If you think you might ever want to draw lighting truss or drapes I would recommend Spotlight. hth michaelk Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The main things that are in Architect but not in Spotlight are the wall and roof framers and the digital terrain modeler. The main things that are in Spotlight but not in Architect are the drape, truss and lighting tools. I agree with Michael. If you think you need both capabilities, look at Designer, It contains all of both, plus Landmark and Machine Design. Quote Link to comment
